Why start tomorrow when you can start NOW!
I've been guilty of this saying myself.
Whether it is a new habit, a task, a new training programme, eating better... (or this post if I'm honest!).
It is just procrastinating. It is delaying what may be portrayed as being a challenge. Does it need to be?
Why start tomorrow when you can start NOW. Why are you delaying it? Are there elements of fear? Over-thinking it? Worried about the 'what ifs'?...
Some simple tips when 'I'll start tomorrow':
⭐ What is your why? Refer back to what motivates you to start NOW
⭐ Imagine how you'll FEEL when you start the change
⭐ START - yes, once you start you'll have momentum!
⭐ If it scares you - lean into it and jump
⭐ If you are overthinking and worrying about things that haven't even happened yet, acknowledge those thoughts and say thank you, but I'm doing this because of X, Y, Z (your WHY) 👆
⭐ Tell a buddy - you are more likely to stick to it if you find someone that will support you and hold you accountable. But, YOU have to start...
🏅 You can take control. The mind can tell us things that are not true and take us off course. Come back to your WHY and you will get back on track.
