Matty Graham, a good friend who runs his own successful coaching business, Exponential Performance Coaching (EPC), invited me back to chat about my completed PhD. You can listen to this podcast Episode 85 on EPC website or Exponential Performance Podcast on Sound Cloud.

We chat about my PhD project that centres around Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S). What is RED-S, what is low energy availability (LEA). How does someone get into LEA? + loads more.

A little bit about Matty. A genuinely good human you would want as your friend. He is based in Wanaka, NZ, with his gorgeous family. He is incredibly intelligent, stays relevant to the research, and has this fantastic ability to break down difficult training and physiological concepts into simple and relatable points. His philosophy is around training smarter, using sport-science base training and coaching for all levels of endurance athletes. I would recommend you have a look at his website as he has a bunch of information that you can access for free. And if that isn’t enough to entice you, he has training plans and personalized coaching to help you reach your endurance endeavour.

The last time I did a podcast with Matty was earlier in his podcast series, in which we discuss my athletic journey and just touch on the start of my PhD journey. You can listen to that episode (#18) here.

Enjoy the yarns! If you have any questions, let me know.
